U.S. DONATES BOMB DETECTOR ROBOTS TO THE NIGERIA POLICE FORCE

U.S. Donates Bomb Detector Robots To The Nigeria Police Force
The United States of America on Wednesday in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city donated high-tech bomb detector robots to the Nigeria Police Force.  
Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, in a statement said the U.S. Ambassador, James Entwistle, presented the robots while visiting the Acting Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba.

Frank Mba said the Ambassador congratulated the police boss on his appointment and said the U.S. will continue to render every relevant support in its capacity to the Force in the areas of training and security cooperation.

The U.S Ambassador also thanked Suleiman Abba for the high level of cooperation between the Nigerian Police and the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria, assuring that the partnership between the police and the U.S. is bound to improve.

The statement quoted the IGP as saying that he was committed to reforming the Force and to repositioning the police for better service delivery.
