MILEY CYRUS HIT WITH CONCERT BAN OVER ANTICS

Miley Cyrus Performs At The 02 Arena
Miley Cyrus concert in the Dominican Republic has been banned on morality grounds. The Dominican Republic outlaws a performance by the star because she often "undertakes acts that go against morals and customs".

The government commission in charge of public performances said it took the action because Cyrus "undertakes acts that go against morals and customs, which are punishable by Dominican law".

Tickets for the September 13 concert, the most expensive of which are more than £200, have been on sale since July.

Critics of the controversial star have declared some of her onstage antics, which include twerking and crotch-grabbing, as vulgar.
There has so far been no comment from the 21-year-old or her representatives.
Concert organisers in the Dominican Republic have also not commented on the move.
In the past the commission has banned songs it considers vulgar, including some by Puerto Rican group Calle 13.
