BOLA TINUBU RUSHED TO LONDON IN HIS PRIVATE JET AMID FEARS HE HAS PARKINSON'S DISEASE
ALL Progressives Congress (APC) leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has arrived in London after being rushed to UK for medical treatment after breaking down with what medical experts believe is Parkinson's disease.
Last year, Asiwaju Tinubu spent about in London recuperating following knee cap surgery in the US at the Rush Hospital in Chicago on August 7. He spent the time recuperating at his west London home where he received numerous visitors from Nigeria, including former head of state General Muhammadu Buhari. Since his return to Nigeria, however, Asiwaju Tinubu has
not been in the best of health and on Friday, he appeared to suffer a relapse, prompting his
family to fly him out of the country.
Accompanied by his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu and former APC national chairman Chief Bisi Akande, Asiwaju Tinubu was flown in his private jet to London after his condition became critical.
A former Lagos State, Asiwaju Tinubu governor has been in and out of hospitals in Texas
and London over the last few years. It is believed that he is suffering from Parkinson’s disease which started around 2003. One source close to the former governor said: “He has in recent years been suffering from Parkinson’s signs and symptoms which include tremors, the shaking of limbs, hands and fingers and slowed movement.
He is also suffering from impaired posture and balance, the loss of automatic movements, speech changes and writing changes. "It became a torturing experience for him eating as his shaking hand could not locate the direction of his mouth most of the times.” Our other source said that he
has another major disease which has been kept under wraps which is being managed in Houston, Texas. According to some APC sources, Asiwaju Tinubu's failing health is what made him give up his aspirations to be General Buhari's running mate in next year's presidential elections.
