WAR IN CONGO KESHI KEEPS EAGLES WAITING

                                  Keshi

Two days before the departure of the Super Eagles to Congo for the all important return leg of the 2015 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) clash against Congo, Coach Stephen Keshi was yet to report to the team’s Bolton White Apartment in Abuja as at press time.

Sports Vanguard can also recall that the Coach who only returned to the team about two weeks ago via a presidential directive was conspicuously absent from the team’s bench when the Super Eagles played against the Black Meteors of Ghana during the opening of the new Akwa Ibom International Stadium.
“Yes, the coach is yet to report to camp but there is nothing to worry because he is still in contact with the team and will be available when the team starts training this morning”.
Meanwhile five foreign based players have reported to the team’s camp by the time of filling this story.
Media officer of the team, Ben Alaiya confirmed to that Sammy Aluko, Hope Akpan, Godfrey Oboabona, Sunday Emmanuel and Aaron Samuel were the early birds. He however assured that the rest of the foreign based players were expected by last night.
Alaiya equally confirmed that all the invited home based players have reported to camp adding that they are all eager to confront the Congolese and pay them back in their own coin.
