NGIGE, OKOROCHA VOW TO INSTALL APC GOV IN ENUGU

Ahead of the 2015 general elections, former Governor of Anambra State, Senator Chris Ngige, and Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, on Monday vowed that they would do everything humanly possible to install an All Progressives Congress (APC) Governor in Enugu State.

Meanwhile the two APC leaders in the South-East stated their resolve at an APC rally in Centre of Unity, Emene Enugu. Addressing thousands of APC members at the rally, Ngige said Enugu as the capital of South-East should not be left behind in the wind of change blowing across the country.
He accused leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State of milking the masses and appropriating the common wealth of the people for themselves and members of their family. Okorocha recalled that in the days of the Igbo union, Igbos used to be the number one in Nigeria but today they are nowhere, even as he described the Second Niger Bridge that PDP promised the South-East as a fraud.
The Imo Governor said if PDP brings money to Enugu with a pick-up, then he would ship money into the State with a truck, insisting that APC was unrelenting in its resolve to take the capital of South-East in 2015. ‘Look at your faces here. Are you like brothers of Nnamani, Nwobodo and Ekweremadu? They are thinking about themselves. Whether your children are in school, it is not their business,” he stated. Enugu State Chairman of APC, Ben Nwoye, appealed to Enugu people to come out en masse in 2015 and vote out the PDP government which has impoverished them for 16 years.
