The Ugandan television station NTV has been banned from covering presidential events after the station’s broadcast displayed the president of Uganda sleeping on duty.

In a statement at the recent parliament meeting held at the government house, the Nation TV station televised President Yoweri Museveni, 69, sleeping during a meeting. Speaking with AFP, the government’s media center manager Dennis Katungi said: ‘president has habits, he meditates and they know it, and still they go out and say he was sleeping.
