SUSPECTED EBOLA VICTIM TESTS NEGATIVE IN KADUNA

Reports just reaching us that the result of the law student at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU) admitted at the Ahmadu Bello Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) who was said to have shown symptoms of the Ebola Disease Virus has come out negative.
Ebola Alert, an authoritative evidence-driven group of volunteer professionals working on Ebola Virus Disease interventions in the country revealed that the blood sample of the patient has shown the student does not have the virus.

The Kaduna State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Thot Dogo, while reacting to the incident on Tuesday said the state Ministry of Health was alerted over the incident by the authorities of ABUTH when the student started showing some signs of Ebola-like high fever and rashes on his body after over a week of admission at the hospital.
