NIGERIA LOSES N78BN TO CRUDE, PETROLEUM PRODUCTS THEFT

Nigeria lost N77.87 billion worth of crude oil and other petroleum products in 2013, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has revealed.  The NNPC, in its Annual Statistics Bulletin 2013, released recently, said 327,480 metric tonnes, MT, of petroleum products were lost, while a total of 2.312 million barrels of crude oil were stolen from pipelines in the period under review.

GOVERNOR ADAMS OSHIOMOLE PRESENTED 2015 BUDGET

                                  
Governor Adams Oshiomole of Edo State has presented the state’s 2015 budget estimates of N156.55billion to the Uyi Igbe faction of the state house House of Assembly for approval .

The budget according to the governor is aimed at expanding revenue base of the State. The budget is four billion naira low than the 2014 budget, which stood at 160.1 naira .
