MOSES EXPLAIN WHY HE HAS BEEN LEFT OUT IN THE LAST TWO GAMES
Super Eagles striker, Victor Moses, has explained why he missed the last Group F match between Nigeria and Argentina on Wednesday, 25 June, 2014 at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
The Nigerian team coach by Stephen Keshi were defeated 2-3 by the South Americans but both sides made it to the round of 16 of the Mundial. Barcelona's Lionel Messi and CSKA Moscow's Ahmed Musa got two goals each from the match. * Ahmed Musa of Nigeria, left, tries to tackle an Iranian player Speaking few minutes ago on his Twitter handle about the match, Moses said, "the lads were brilliant again yesterday and did the country proud. Gutted to miss it again with a muscle strain". The Liverpool's player has only played for Nigeria in the 0-0 draw against Iran and many Nigerian fans were not impressed with his performance. Coach Keshi did not dress the ormer player of Wigan in the 1-0 victory against Bosnia- Herzegovina. * Nigeria's Victor Moses, right, in the match against Iran And when he was conspicuously missing against Argentina, a lot of Nigerians were worried on what might happened to me while some reports stated that he was the scapegoat of the uninspiring performance of the Eagles against Iran in their first group match. Now that Moses has come out to state that he has been injured, we can only hope he would recover in time before Nigeria take on France in the second round scheduled to take place on 30 June, 2014.
