Unical lecturer shot, hospitalised

Calabar - A lecturer in the University of Calabar, Dr Godwin Iwatt, was shot in the stomach by gunmen suspected to be students in his office,

The lecturer was said to have been in his office at the Department of Microbiology at about 3 pm when two gunmen walked into his office and shot in him in the stomach.

He was rushed to the General Hospital Calabar where he is still in a coma at the emergency unit.
